I ordered a size 5/6 for my soon to be 4 year old, who is 38” tall and 29 lbs. He couldn’t wait to put it on and absolutely loves them! The straps tighten just enough to stay on his shoulders snugly. Length in the legs is long but that is what I wanted so he has room to grow for next year. Definitely true to size. With boots on they don’t drag and I can just tuck them under even if they did. My oldest two have the jacket only, we ordered last year, and they still look good and are holding up. They all really love the fleece inside the jacket, especially in the hood. We live in Michigan and often snowmobile with all 3 kids, and they stay warm and dry.
