I'm a big fan of Sorel and have a few other pairs in a size 5 (women's size 7). The Whitney II are noticeably tighter, so I removed the insoles and they fit much better. They've also stretched out a bit over time, and I can now wear them with the insoles. They're still a little snug, but the thickness of the insoles makes the boots incredibly comfortable, almost like wearing slippers.I'd be hesitant to use these in mud and slush because of the light color, but they're perfect for frigid temperatures and light rain/snow. The traction is also really good for icier conditions that my duck boots don't handle as well. Plus, they're nearly half the price of the women's version, so they're a great overall boot for me.Got for my very rough and tumble outdoor 8year old!We live in Wisconsin, were it’s COLD and these boots have really done a great job of keeping him warm.The wet does soak a little way though, if you are out for sometime, and because they aren’t that high up the leg snow can go over the top......if you live somewhere snowy you will know what I am saying.But overall they have been great and I would highly recommend, still looking good after some pretty heavy use. Easy for for a child to put on/off alone. They also look way more stylish then most snow boots! More expensive then a lot of boots.I bought these for my daughter for next year! They are super cute. I wouldn’t have her play in the snow with them they don’t seem like they would be warm enough! But I figured they are perfect for school on cold days that there might be a little snow in the ground and she is going to and from the bus!Daughter loves the style. They fit great and are warm for out and about in Midwest Winter. Downside they are too short to walk or play in deep snow.We had to return the first pair. My 8 year old typically wears a 1 or a 2. I purchased a 2But she thought they were a little tight. I exchange for the three and she loves them. I think they are slightly too big on her Which means we may be able to get two full seasons out of them. :)Little dude loves these boots. Easy to put on, warm. My little guy colored on the wool with highlighter (had a mini melt down because of it. Me, not my son) & it wiped right off. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Love these boots.Perfect in every way!They were too small for my son length wise. And the toe part was too narrow for his feet. Returned the product and got a refund.Would be nice if they made them wider but as they are narrow you can’t just size up if your child’s foot is wide.Sprengung (Höhenunterschied zwischen Ballen und Ferse) der Schuhsohle ist schon extrem. Neither fit, even with thick socks.
