This book has great illustrations and a diverse cast of characters. There isn't much story per se, but rather rhyming couplets on each page demonstrating things that could go wrong if you bring your dragon to the library. The ending is great -- the librarian helps the protagonist to find a way around wanting to bring his dragon to the library. It's a fun and sweet book, and it helps that my daughter's school mascot is the dragon ;)
