As someone who has always been interested in art, astronomy, cosmology, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga, energy healing and numerous other scientific and esoteric topics, when I saw this 128 page hardcover book (Visual Meditations on the universe by James S. Perkins) on Amazon I decided to purchase it.This unusual book contains the author’s unique drawings along with meditation and visualization message to match the mystical color paintings. The art has esoteric images in full color for each section and one can meditate on the message it is attempting to convey to the reader.Some of the material in this book covers includes: Space, Kosmos, the solar universe is born, a ring pass-not, the one becomes many, the archetypal universe, the monad, the archetypal self, the mighty pilgrimage, a commorama, chain one, mineral archetypes, group-soul evolution, prehumen group on the moon, individualized man, chain four-the human kingdom, birth of the planet Earth and various other topics.In conclusion, I found this book somewhat interesting and thought the colorful drawings were certainly different than the kind I personally like to look at in my meditation sessions; however, everyone has their own likes and dislikes when it comes to art of all kinds.
