Even if you've never read A Christmas Carol you know the story. There are a lot of Holiday movies with a twist on this classic tale. I finally read this for the first time and there's nothing like reading the original.I got the mass market paperback. It has a nice, festive cover and is a great price. Definitely a good buy. It's a fairly short book but you get a focused, full story. The writing gives you great imagery. You can easily imagine full scenes in your head. It's shocking at first how miserable of a person Scrooge is but we quickly get to see partly why he is that way. His transformation is great to see from others' point of view. That his family accepts and welcomes him is very heartwarming to see.
